Hi, I'm Angelica.
OPERA SINGER | SOPRANO AND MEZZO-SOPRANO
Born in Modena, Angelica was introduced to the world of music at a very young age, beginning her career as a choir member and later as a soloist in the parish choir. After graduating, she continued her studies in opera singing at the Orazio Vecchi Institute of Musical Studies in Modena, while simultaneously embarking on a concert career that led her to perform as a soloist in prestigious venues, including the foyer of the Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the foyers of the Teatro Comunale in Modena, Ferrara, and Piacenza.
Since 2018, she has continued her studies at the "Achille Peri" Conservatory in Reggio Emilia, where she earned her bachelor's degree and then her master's degree in opera singing, both with honors. During this period, she developed an intense artistic career that consolidated her profile as a complete opera singer, both soprano and mezzo-soprano, endowed with vocal versatility and interpretive strength.
In 2019, she took part in the world premiere of the opera "Narciso – Nello sguardo degli altri" at the Teatro Ariosto. That same year, she performed the role of Sister Genoveffa in Giacomo Puccini's opera Suor Angelica. In subsequent years, she tackled operatic roles of varying character and repertoire, including Mamma Rosa in Gaetano Donizetti's Il Campanello, Madame Balandar in Jacques Offenbach's operetta Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui…, Anaide in Nino Rota's Il Cappello di paglia di Firenze, and La Ciesca in Giacomo Puccini's Gianni Schicchi.
In addition to her operatic career, Angelica excels as a performer of sacred repertoire. She has been a soprano soloist in major productions, including Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Op. 48, performed internationally during the London Conducting Workshop under Maestro John Farrer, and Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger's Mass, Op. 187, under Maestro Chiavazza. These experiences have helped shape her elegant, controlled, and profoundly expressive vocal style.
Since 2024, Angelica has been a chorister in the Chorus of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, a group involved in the operatic programming of the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo. That same year, she took part as a chorister in high-profile national productions, appearing in the three Il Volo – Tutti Per Uno concerts and the 2024 TIM Music Awards, both held at the Verona Arena and broadcast on national television networks.
A versatile singer, in 2022 she performed as a soloist at the institutional ceremony for the Italian Republic Day at the Prefecture of Reggio Emilia, an event that saw the awards presented to two iconic figures of Italian music, Luciano Ligabue and Orietta Berti.
Alongside her artistic career, Angelica maintains a constant commitment to teaching. She has taught music and choir in primary and preschool schools and collaborates with several local music schools, teaching opera and modern singing.
Angelica is now a complete opera singer, both soprano and mezzo-soprano, capable of combining solid academic training, significant stage experience, and a natural interpretative elegance. A reliable and high-caliber artist, she is suited to prestigious productions, concerts, ceremonies, and events.
