Profile

He began his musical career at the age of 12. At 25, he graduated in saxophone from the Bologna Conservatory. He attended advanced courses with Claude Delangle of the Paris Conservatory, Jean-Yves Formeau, and Daniele Faziani. He has taught saxophone in several private schools. He participated in the Musica Viva Jazz seminars in Sondrio with Canadian saxophonist Robert Bonisolo and in 2006 in Alatri Jazz with Rosario Giuliani, as well as studying jazz with leading saxophonists on the Italian jazz scene. He has collaborated with various recording studios and producers of house, pop, and electronic music, as well as on commercials broadcast on national TV, and with countless artists and musicians in recording studios. In recent years, he has performed at the most important clubs and venues in Italy and abroad. In 2006, he played at the Andy Warhol exhibition in Trieste and that same year he performed at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China in Beijing. In 2009, he played at the Champions League final in Rome at the Stadio dei Marmi and the Fori Imperiali. He performed with Louie Vega, Hector Romero, and participated in studio sessions with Defected and DJ David Morales.
