Profile
Giacomo graduated in cello from the O. Vecchi Conservatory in Modena in 2007. He has collaborated with various European orchestras, including the important Arturo Toscanini Youth Orchestra. A versatile musician, he began his career in theater in 2009, composing music for Monologues and Readings alongside actor Mariano Arenella and actress Elena Ferrari. He has collaborated with Australian singer-songwriter Scott Matthew, Genoese singer-songwriter Max Manfredi, Gerardo Balestrieri, and other Italian singer-songwriters. In 2019, he collaborated with pianist and producer Peppe D'Onghia, reinterpreting, together with some of the musicians who accompanied Lucio Dalla, songs by the Bolognese singer-songwriter in instrumental versions. In 2020, he participated in the docu-series "Allevi in the Jungle," released on Raiplay and hosted by pianist Giovanni Allevi. Since 2017, he has collaborated with musician Giuseppe Bonomo on a project "tribute" to David Bowie.
