INDIE ACOUSTIC DUO

Italian and international indie pop and rock, from the ’90s to today, with a focus on the ’10s: Calcutta, Cosmo, Coez, Kings of Lion, Arctic Monkeys, as well as Bjork, Afterhours, Subsonica, Portishead... The setlist is broad and varied, rooted mainly in alternative music, with a few forays into the finer side of contemporary pop. The live show brings together Cate’s gently rock and soul-inflected vocals and Filippo’s sunny pop sensibility, both in service of a carefully curated and distinctive repertoire.

Caterina has a unique musical background: she began singing in the late ’90s with punk, ska and alternative rock bands (Portishead, Massive Attack...), before moving towards funk, soul, blues and Black music. Filippo is a young guitarist with a versatile, sunny and elegant personality, skilled across a wide range of genres.

Filippo plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar and stomp box. Caterina sings, uses a vocal processor, and plays percussion and other small instruments.
