Mirko Donnini is a professional DJ and founder of MUSIC4®, a company specializing in music and entertainment for weddings and events. He has been working in music for over 25 years and works primarily in Modena, Bologna, Reggio Emilia, and the main wedding venues in Emilia-Romagna, as well as managing events throughout Italy and destination weddings.
He started DJing at 14, at private parties, learning firsthand one of the skills he still considers essential today: understanding the people behind the decks. Over the course of his career, he's combined club experience with that gained at weddings and private events, developing a unique ability to read the dance floor and build the energy of the party moment by moment.
For over 15 years, he has been the artistic director of clubs such as Discoteca La Buca and Indio Club in Modena, overseeing music selections, formats, and events. He has entertained thousands of people throughout Italy and shared the decks with artists such as Bob Sinclar, Benny Benassi, Martin Solveig, Tommy Vee, and Joe T Vannelli, in addition to playing with Subsonica and at major clubs and festivals in Italian nightlife.
In the wedding world, he is the founder and head of MUSIC4, a team now composed of over 30 DJs, musicians, bands, and performers. MUSIC4 professionals have organized over 1,850 weddings in the last fifteen years, building a unique expertise in the wedding music industry that combines planning, musical expertise, and party management skills.
Mirko is particularly appreciated for his ability to transform a wedding party into a truly engaging experience. He knows how to read the dance floor, follow its energy, and push it ever higher, transforming a beautiful party into something much greater.
His style can be elegant and refined when the moment calls for it, but when it comes time to dance he can be extremely energetic, engaging and, when the dance floor allows it, downright explosive.
It's precisely this combination that characterizes his way of working: club experience, musical sensitivity, and a great ability to create festive moments that remain etched in the memory of his guests.
For Mirko, DJing at a wedding isn't just about picking the songs. It means crafting the day's soundtrack with the bride and groom and, when it comes time for the party, knowing exactly when to turn it up a notch.
From the first dance to the cutting of the cake, right up to the actual party, every moment is planned together with the bride and groom, without pre-packaged playlists or formats to replicate.

Behind every one of our events, there's never a pre-established "script," but rather a tailor-made project created with the couple.
