Mirko Donnini is a professional DJ and the founder of MUSIC4®, a company specializing in music and entertainment for weddings and events. He has been immersed in music for over 25 years and works primarily in Modena, Bologna, Reggio Emilia and at leading wedding venues across Emilia-Romagna, as well as performing at events throughout Italy and destination weddings.
He started DJing at 14 at private parties, learning firsthand one of the things he still considers essential today: knowing how to connect with the people in front of the decks. Over the course of his career, he has combined club experience with that gained at weddings and private events, developing a special ability to read the dance floor and build the party’s energy moment by moment.
For over 15 years, he has been the artistic director of clubs such as Discoteca La Buca and Indio Club in Modena, overseeing music selections, concepts and events. He has played for thousands of people across Italy and shared the decks with artists such as Bob Sinclar, Benny Benassi, Martin Solveig, Tommy Vee and Joe T Vannelli. He has also performed with Subsonica and at leading clubs and festivals on Italy’s nightlife scene.
In the wedding industry, he is the founder and leading figure behind MUSIC4, a team now made up of more than 30 DJs, musicians, bands and performers. MUSIC4 professionals have performed at over 1,850 weddings in the past fifteen years, building specialist experience in wedding music that combines planning, musical expertise and the ability to keep the party running smoothly.
Mirko is especially appreciated for his ability to turn a wedding party into a truly interactive experience. He knows how to read the dance floor, match its energy and keep building it until a great party becomes something even bigger.
His style can be elegant and refined when the moment calls for it, but when it’s time to dance, he knows how to bring the energy and get everyone involved—and, when the dance floor allows, he can be downright explosive.

For Mirko, DJing at a wedding is about more than simply choosing songs. It means creating the soundtrack to the day together with the couple and, when it’s time to party, knowing exactly when to turn things up.
From the first dance to the cake cutting and the celebrations that follow, every moment is planned together with the couple, with no pre-made playlists or cookie-cutter formats.
