PIANIST

Alberto is a pianist and composer with 25 years of experience. He graduated in Piano under Maestro Enza Iori and in Composition under Maestro Antonio Giacometti from the “Vecchi-Tonelli” Institute of Higher Musical Studies in Modena. His musical training also includes Keyboard, Guitar and Modern Singing, as well as a degree in Communication and Marketing from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Since 2009, he has been a certified Yamaha instructor and has worked with numerous educational and academic institutions, including the ISSM “Vecchi-Tonelli” and the “Progetto Musica” programme at SMS “Paoli – San Carlo”. He has been invited to give talks on interdisciplinary topics such as the relationship between Bach, mathematics and painting, as well as music history courses at the Università Popolare Sassolese.

A versatile musician, Alberto has complemented his classical training with a thriving career as a session musician in pop, rock and jazz. Highlights include collaborations with national productions such as The Voice of Italy and performances at festivals such as the Botticino Music Festival. He has played keyboards for the “Princess” company, performing on cruise ships across California, Mexico, Hawaii and the Mediterranean. In 2016, he was featured as keyboardist in the show of Sergio Cortés, the renowned Michael Jackson impersonator.

Alberto is also a highly regarded arranger and transcriber, with a particular talent for computer music. He works with a range of DAWs to create backing tracks, jingles, songs and soundtracks, specialising in electronic music. His musical sensitivity and great versatility make him a go-to pianist for events, concerts and educational projects.

Thanks to his natural ability to move effortlessly between different genres—from classical to pop, rock to jazz—and his academic training, he is considered a well-rounded professional.
