Behind the project are two musicians with different artistic backgrounds, united by strong musical training and deep interpretive sensitivity. Sandra, a cellist with international training, began her studies at the Monterrey School of Music and Dance in Mexico, under the guidance of teacher Temenuzhka Todorova Ostreva. Her career has taken her to perform as a soloist, in chamber ensembles and with orchestras at prestigious concert venues, from the Teatro della Città di Monterrey to the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, as well as in Vienna, Rome, Milan and other Italian cities. In Italy, she completed a specialist postgraduate degree in cello, while also teaching alongside her concert work. In 2022, she received the Universum Donna Award and was named an honorary academician for life.

Olena brings to the duo a musical background developed between Eastern Europe and Italy, with a focus on violin and chamber music. Active as both a soloist and ensemble musician, she has an interpretive sensitivity that finds one of its most compelling expressions in her collaboration with the cello. Her playing brings out the melody and musical dialogue, helping her and Sandra create a balanced, expressive sound, rich in nuance.

The beauty of this line-up also lies in its ability to create a rich musical experience with just two instruments.
