Some violinists have built their careers in classical music.

And then there are artists who have brought that same preparation, sensitivity and discipline to completely different settings, transforming the violin into an instrument of international entertainment.

Olesya Rusina belongs to this second category.

An international violinist and performer, Olesya has over twenty years of experience spanning concert work, music productions, luxury hospitality, high-end private events and major international occasions.

Her musical journey began at a very young age.

Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she began studying the violin at just five years old, growing up in the tradition of the great Russian violin school. This rigorous training became the foundation for a musical journey that would soon take her beyond the borders of her home country.

At a very young age, she moved to the United States on scholarships to Interlochen Arts Academy and later the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in Florida, where she honed her technique and artistic sensibility in an international environment.

It is in the United States that her career takes on an even broader scope.

Olesya joined leading orchestras and took part in productions and concerts alongside internationally renowned artists. During her time in the United States, she had the opportunity to perform in an orchestra with Michael Bublé and Natalie Cole, and to take part in the 2013 Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame in Miami.

But her work goes beyond the concert stage.

Over the years, Olesya has built extensive experience in international luxury entertainment, working with companies specialising in high-end events and performing at prestigious venues and occasions.

These include Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, as well as events for brands such as BMW, Lamborghini and Cosmoprof Bologna, and an appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival for Cranchi Yachts.

In Sardinia, she takes part in the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of Hotel Cala di Volpe, performing as the opening act for Imagine Dragons.

Her story says a lot about what makes her unique: Olesya doesn’t belong to just one world.

Her identity is rooted in classical music, but expressed with the freedom of a performer accustomed to working with different audiences, settings and cultures.

In Italy, he continues to maintain a strong connection with concert music. He collaborates with the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra and in 2020 performed as a soloist in the concert Tra Paganini e Morricone, held at the Palacongressi di Rimini.

His artistic experience also extends into film, through recordings made in collaboration with composer Enthony Espina for Ludo and the documentary Auf Wiedersehen in Winzig, productions presented on the international film circuit.
