Sandra has devoted her life to exploring these possibilities, building a musical journey that took her from Mexico to stages across Europe. Years of study and experience have given her a distinctive sensitivity in the way she plays her instrument.

Her musical training began in Mexico at the Higher School of Music and Dance in Monterrey, where she studied cello under the guidance of teacher Temenuzhka Todorova Ostreva. It was the start of an important artistic journey, developed through solo performances, chamber music and collaborations with orchestras. Over the course of her career, Sandra has performed at prestigious venues including Monterrey City Theatre and the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, later bringing her music to Europe with concert appearances in Vienna, Rome, Milan and other Italian cities.

Moving to Italy marked another chapter in her professional growth. Here, she completed a two-year specialist degree in cello, while continuing to perform and teach. In 2022, she received the Universum Donna Award and was named an honorary life academician, adding another distinction to an already rich musical and cultural career.

But a résumé, however impressive, tells only part of a musician's story. What matters to us about Sandra is also how all that experience comes through in her sound. Her cello has an expressive depth that gives a melody weight and meaning, without resorting to showy effects.
