Hi, I'm Mark.
PROFESSIONAL VIOLINIST FOR WEDDINGS, EVENTS AND DJ SETS
To tell Mark Lanzetta’s story, we could start with Tomorrowland.
Or from the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
From seven dates in Miami in the same year. From international stages. From recording productions. From television. From Relight Orchestra tracks that became theme tunes for shows such as Chiambretti Night, Striscia la Notizia and L'Eredità.
We could.
But perhaps we should go back much further. To a five-year-old sitting at a piano. Mark studies music seriously—very seriously. Piano and violin, years at the conservatory, sacrifices and training that mean he has already graduated in both instruments from the Parma Conservatory by the age of just 21.
Everything seemed to point in one direction. Mark chose another. While continuing his classical studies, he discovered the world of clubs, dance music and the new energy that emerges when thousands of people share the same music at the same time.
For years, he lived what he himself described as a kind of double musical life: violin, piano, concerts and classical training on one side; clubs, nightlife and electronic music on the other. Then those two lives stopped being separate.
And that’s where Mark Lanzetta really comes into his own. With Relight Orchestra, the project he founded with Robert Eno, he brought live instruments into electronic music at a time when this kind of crossover was far from commonplace.
Then come the record deals, major Italian clubs, Miami, Moscow, Kyiv, Istanbul, Cairo, Zurich and numerous international stages. Tracks like Going Back to My Roots, Remedios, Superstar and Elegibò follow. Then comes Italia's Got Talent, where she also takes the laser harp to the stage.
And on July 27, 2013, Tomorrowland arrived. Mark took the stage in Belgium with his violin.
That same year, he embarked on a seven-date tour in Miami and performed at the Ultra Music Festival.
That’s why it would be reductive to describe Mark simply as a violinist who performs alongside a DJ. DJing and violin have been part of his artistic journey for decades.
His training gave him technique, a keen ear and an extraordinary ability to improvise. Clubbing taught him something no conservatory can: how to read a dance floor. Knowing when to wait. When to come in. When a melody should move you. And when the violin should become pure energy.
That’s exactly what makes Mark so interesting at a wedding, too.
At an aperitif, he can be elegant, musical and sophisticated, reimagining great melodies and weaving into the music with almost surgical precision. Then the party begins. And you’re no longer looking at just a violinist. You’re watching a performer used to playing in front of thousands, able to improvise over the DJ’s tracks and turn an instrument long associated with classical music into something contemporary, physical and truly powerful. With MUSIC4, Mark can be booked for weddings, destination weddings, aperitifs, receptions, DJ sets + violin, corporate events, luxury events, gala dinners, private parties and major events. His résumé could go on for quite a while. But the reason to choose Mark may be much simpler.
He has spent a lifetime studying to become a great violinist.
Then she took that violin somewhere no one would have expected to find it.
All the way to Tomorrowland.
